Help us directly reach more veterans and their families, work through the process of defining their need, coordinate who can support in what way, and stick with them through the often long and frustrating process.

Donations also support our outreach at elder care centers, medical facilities, and other community resources as we educate those who are most likely to be able to help pass on the knowledge to the support systems veterans rely on.

Funds also go toward events which gather veterans in under-served locations to more effectively educate them on the local, state and national resources that can support them.

  • We are focused on supporting our community in southwest Virginia. We know the services available locally, as well as the regional and national organizations who can help our veterans. We understand the challenges faced in rural Virginia, as well as the culture of independence and self-sufficiency.

  • Mountain Valor was granted 501c(3) status by the IRS as of April 2024. Our tax ID is 99-3515004.

  • In some circumstances, we can accept gifts in-kind. These often include:

    -gift cards
    -gym memberships
    -recreational activities
    -Event/meeting venues
